On September 6th, 2013, just one day before our own Brennan "The Irish Bad Boy" Ward was scheduled to fight in the webcast only preliminary bouts at Bellator MMA 98 he learned that Bellator had moved him into the Middleweight Tournament which would kick off their new season on Spike TV.

Brennan was matched against Justin Torrey, a fighter with whom he was quite familiar, who brought with him an undefeated 7-0 Pro MMA record. In an action packed first round, Brennan showcased his excellent boxing skills and executed some impressive takedowns courtesy of his superior wrestling pedigree. To begin the second round, Brennan had damaged the left eye of Torrey badly and took full advantage, controlling the round and bringing it to a TKO victory!

Brennan successfully turned his impromptu replacement fight and first live television appearance in Bellator's Middleweight Tournament into a huge opportunity. He is now scheduled to face Perry Filkins (8-1) in the semi-final round of the Bellator Middleweight Tournament bracket Live on Spike TV at Bellator 102 from California's Visalia Convention Center on October 4th. is extremely proud to sponsor The Irish Bad Boy and excited for his next fight.
